NVIDIA 11 日正式發佈首款基於全新 Fermi 微架構「 GF108 」繪圖核心,針對入門級遊戲應用及數位影像處理的「 GeForce GT 430 」繪圖卡產品,將取代舊有 GeForce GT220 產品,對手預定為 Radeon HD 5550 及 5570 。 NVIDIA 把「 GeForce GT 430 」定位為數位影像處理應用而非遊戲應用產品,整個記者會從未與競爭對手作性能差異比較,究竟這款繪圖卡的性能如何 !? HKEPC 將詳細分析全新 GeForce GT 430 架構設計,並對比自家上代產品與對手同級產品間之效能差異。



基於 NVIDIA P1071 公板   採用 Low-Profile 設計

NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 是 NVIDIA 首款基於「 GF108 」繪圖核心的桌面繪圖卡產品,由於是針對入門級、影片應用,大部份廠商均採用 NVIDIA P1071 Low Profile PCB 設計或是基於 P1071 設計並作出少量改良,以減省研發成本及加快上市時程。

 

NVIDIA P1071 公板尺寸為 4.376 吋 ( 高 ) x 6.6 吋 ( 長 ) ,包括這次編輯部收到的 Inno3D GeForce GT 430 就是 NVIDIA P1071 公板設計,而 ASUS ENGT-430/DI/1GD3(LP) 繪圖卡則是基於公板作出微調改良。

Inno3D GeForce GT 430 繪圖卡採用 NVIDIA P1071 公板 PCB ,但散熱器沒有用上今代 Dual Slot 的公板風扇,而是沿用上代 GeForce GT220 公板的 Single Slot 散熱器,由於 GeForce GT220 繪圖核心的 TDP ,較今代 GeForce GT 430 更高,因此上代公板散熱器效能要應付全新「 GF108 」繪圖核心,絕對是綽綽有餘。

 

Inno3D GeForce GT 430 並沒有預設超頻,核心時脈與公板同為 700MHz Core/1.4GHz Shader ,記憶體採用 Samsung K4W1G1646E-HC12 DDR3 顆粒,記憶體容量為 1GB ,記憶體時脈為 1.8GHz DDR ,同樣沒有預設超頻。

ASUS ENGT-430/DI/1GD3(LP) 繪圖卡則是基於 NVIDIA P1071 公板 PCB 作出改良,主要分別在於 GPU 供電模組, Mosfet 由公板的 1 上 2 下設計變為至 2 上 2 下,並採用較高質素的電感。較大型的鋁散熱器,增加了散熱容量和面積,但要注意的它的散熱器並非 Single Slot 設計,可能需要被佔用多一組擴充槽, MicroATX 主機板的用家尤需注意。

 

ASUS ENGT-430/DI/1GD3(LP) 繪圖卡並沒有預設超頻,核心時脈與公板同為 700MHz Core/1.4GHz Shader ,記憶體採用 Hynix H5TQ1G63BFA-12C DDR3 顆粒,記憶體容量為 1GB ,記憶體時脈為 1.6GHz DDR ,同樣沒有預設超頻。

編輯評語︰


相較「 GF104 」與「 GF106 」,「 GF108 」的設計完全非以遊戲玩家需要上作出考量,因此全新 GeForce GT 430 對於要求遊戲性能的入門玩家,可能會較為失望,甚至認為 Fermi 表現不應如此。

 

但事實上, NVIDIA 的眼光早已不再局限於遊戲領域,也不再把 GPU 定於為限為遊戲而生的產品,「 GF108 」的架構是在各方面作出相應平衡的 GPU ,包括了 CUDA 運算應用、 3D 多媒體播放、入門級的遊戲性能,希望一改 GPU 是遊戲玩家的專利,企圖改變一般用戶只需要 IGP 就可以足夠了的想法,從 NVIDIA 把 Shader Unit 時脈改為以 CUDA Core 時脈作命名,反映 NVIDIA 的未來佈局方向。

 

由於 NVIDIA 沒有 x86 處理器平台, IGP 市場只能望門輕嘆,在沒有自家 x86 處理器加持下, NVIDIA 要保持甚至搶奪 GPU 市場份額, NVIDIA 的 GPU 就必需要做到「 More than a GPU 」,因此在過去兩年 NVIDIA 積極發展 CUDA 平行運算技術,希望以 GPGPU 運算為自家 GPU 加持,甚至有天能超越 x86 處理器,在 x86 系統中的角色反客為主。

 

「 GF108 」與 GeForce GT 430 會是未來入門級 GPU 的設計方向,筆者很大程度上是認同的,但唯一懷疑的是 NVIDIA 會否過早把入門級繪圖卡與遊戲性能脫軌,現時 CUDA 技術、 3D 影像應用及編輯是否真的能在未來 1 年高速發展,讓「 GF108 」與 GeForce GT 430 突破遊戲市場的界線並發光發熱,將成為繪圖卡市場未來焦點所在。

CPU分差咁遠? 真奇怪

連5570都唔夠抽
CPU 分係因為 nVIDIA 有 PhysX 加速
所以 A 卡會全滅 (比你落張 HD5970 都無用, 無加速 XDD)
剛剛好用黎幫人出部 AMD ITX 睇 3D Blu-Ray
唔駛用 Onboard 880G 無3D :naug:
似得16 SP =.=! 取代210吧~ 23x23 快得去邊=..=

如果又係新卡賣$600以上,咁既價錢買黎睇片真係貴左D
呢張卡唔係for 打game的....
完全地為HTPC而生~~
可惜出得太早,此卡主要功能尚未普及XD
唔知幾錢一張呢?
如果$300~$400都可以, low profile for HTPC硬解用
GF 108 唔知快唔快過我張 9600GT ?
對GT430有點失望, 期待NVIDIA能快些推出比GT240及HD5670勁些的Low Profile卡。
