基本上 Sempron 2100+ 核心時脈為 1.8GHz ,規格上與較早前推出的 Athlon 64 3600+ 同樣擁有 256KB x 2 L2 ,僅 Hyper-Transport 速度由 1GHz 減至 800MHz ,但對效能影響輕微,雖然面對性能優勢的 Core 微架構,由於 Celeron E1200 的 L2 Cache 大幅刪減至 512KB L2 ,加上核心時脈僅有 1.6GHz ,因此兩顆處理器效能相近。
從測試結果所見,兩者在效能上的差距只是伯仲之間,在繪圖效能方面,採用同樣的繪圖卡下, AMD Sempron 2100+ 所得的效能較佳,相反在多媒體運算,如壓片則 Intel E1200 較為優勝,而一般運算方面就互有勝負。
雖然兩方更有勝負,但 AMD 卻有 AMD 7 系列晶片組,在 IGP 繪圖效能上明顯比 Intel 平台晶片組優勝,有助 Sempron 2100+ 力守中國市場,在 ATI 繪圖技術加持下, Sempron 2100+ 在中國市場將有明顯優勢。
