Why the smart phone charger has two set of output values?

I have this new phone charger call ProMini PS-6T. It is very good on charging performance but I just have some question for the outputs. The output for USB are 5V 2.4A x 2 + 5V 1A x 2 Or 5V 1.2A x 4 + 3V 1A x 2. What’s that mean?

照睇個面的 Label,3 和 4 係 2.4A Shared(另外 5 和 6 亦都一樣)。

即係只用 3 或 4 其中一個時,可以出到 2.4A,但一齊用的話,3 + 4 夾埋都係得 2.4A。所以有兩組 O/P value:

1.
5V 2.4A x 2 + 5V 1A x 2
[(3 or 4) + (5 or 6)] + (1 +2)

2.
5V 1.2A x 4 + 5V 1A x 2
(3 + 4 + 5 + 6) + (1 + 2)

That’s the maximum current outputs for each USB port.
For 5V 2.4A x 2 + 5V 1A x 2, you can charge 2 high input (2.4A) devices and two low input devices (1A) in the same time. The total is four outputs.
For 5V 1.2A x 4 + 3V 1A x 2, you can charge 4 devices of 1.2A and two low input devices (1A) in the same time. The total is six outputs. Normally many smart phone take 1A and Tables need 2.4A output.
