about Mac upgrade OS

my mac is year2011  10.7x, Just upgrade to Yosemite, but after 1 week, it alway reboot.

any one have same problem? what can I do now?

and when go to select user page, it still reboot.

thanks

Perform a clean install and manually install the applications (not restore from a time machine backup). Maybe there is software compatibility issues.

You can check the User/ System Diagnostic Reports from Console to find some hints as well

because I still cannot login the OS..and no backup now. so trouble

anyway, how go to view the report

You can use target disk mode to boot from another mac and backup your files

Console is a built-in app among Disk Utilities and Activity Monitor

Exactly. Firewire connection is also okay if you have the port on both mac
Or else if you cannot find another mac, place the hard drive in a pc, install hfs+ for windows then you can backup the data from a windows machine.
Since you cannot login the OS, there's no point to check the logs in Console
