[操作疑難] How to check the SSD in notebook?

Hi Chings,

I have replaced the old HDD by SSD.  (open the case, remove HDD, plug the new SDD, system, system recovery, Boot/Win OK).

Checked with AS SSD bench mark, it has only 15M write result for 4K test.  Reading some old post, it should be more than 20M. I suspected it may be some driver or setting incorrect.

1. Where can I find the SSD info?
2. Does it need to adjust / install any software driver?
3. 4K Alignment? ??

thanks,

you should attach the screenshot.

The test result of AS SSD was changed from 15M to 13.95M.
Checked with BIOS,  and Device Manger,  AHCI is found.

According to your read seq. is 505MB/s, it is already in SATA3.

you should download latest driver for intel achi , seems your ssd 4K a little bit slow. But overall is ok.

Checked it is already the most update AHCI driver.
Thanks.

Even the manufacturer date is same, maybe firmware of the SSD have difference.
Also because laptop on battery mode, everything include storage device will having lower performance, because HDDs uses more power,if the BIOS is only designed for HDD,It will scale the power to lowest level that the HDD could run.If the SSD is running 8 channel mode(For the 256GB double sided SSD),the performance could be affected.
