[技術討論] New problem...cant clone the HDD to SDD ( Arcronis 2014)

本帖最後由 Rafael段 於 2015-7-22 01:37 編輯

I just bought a new SSD to upgrade my laptop Fujitsu LH532
and plugged in via the SATA port (originally for optical driver)

I want to use the Acronis True Image to clone the OS( Windows 8.1)
from the original HDD (750GB 5400rpm) to the new SSD

However, I find that there are many unknown partition in the HDD (attached print screen jpg)
Can I just resize or even remove that partitions? (especially the 20GB one)

Since I cannot resize/remove the partitions by using the Acronis True Image in the 'clone disk' options,
do I need to use another software like Ubuntu to resize before I using Acronis True Image?

From acronis forum:

1. Create bootable USB key with the TrueImage
2. Put the new HDD in and take the old HDD out of the laptop
3. Connect the old HDD to be cloned into via USB
4. Boot from the USB key with the TrueImage and clone discs
5. Restart

我自己就會拆 notebook hdd 裝落 desktop clone.

你咁既情況,自行重裝好過clone
除非你係廠機

你原本應該係Boot from partition 4 ,應該要改UEFI loader boot order
