So I installed windows 10 to a hard disk and test directx 12 with a game I play, Guildwars2. There is a boss with over 100 players fighting it I believe. With directx11 in Win8, I got 6-10 fps. With directx12, I got 20 at the beginning of the fight and it raised to 29 and stayed there till the end. It was amazing. I am tempted to install the 9926 build to my SSD now.
There is only directx 12 in Windows 10.

it should be compatible with dx11 and below..it is mean that if the game only support dx9..it will only run on dx9 mode..so..how do you confirm it is running dx12 in guildwar2 without obvious fps-changed

FPS changed from 6-10 in window 8 to 20-29 in windows 10. I think the difference is big enough. The tests were made in the same machine with different boot disks only. Even the display driver was the same version. I cannot think of other factors that could affect the FPS.
On second thought, there is another factor, the number of players at the scene. If there were a lot more players when I tested in win8 than in win10, then it could give me an illusion that the increase in FPS was due to directx 12.
