Some of these shops emphasized that after treatment, the car should be washed with clear water only, without any detergents or what they call 蠟水. This actually poses a problem because the cleaners at my carpack won't use clear water to clean cars. I don't want to clean the car by myself, or to drive outside just to clean my car.

Oh Glare claims they are the best thing in the world.
Glare Professional polish contains no adverse chemicals such as silicones, waxes, polymers, acrylics, or a combination of any 4 products or parts there of combined.
It can resist those dirty water.

Answer 2:
First of all, using plain water to wash any car is WRONG. I said WRONG. Yes I said WRONG.
The composition of Glare - something invented since 1970s - and contains Acrylate Copolymer...???
It should never be washed by plain water.
They just try to entertain the laziness of HK people and make crazy money.
End result? 3 years old new car after doing 3 times:
--- --- --- --- ---
I have used the best coating in the World. It is 100x harder than all those 9H or quartz coating.
Still you must either use a car wash soap, or do not wash your car.
It is strange that in HK, every expensive car get washed using dirty water and towels.
Does anybody bath with dirty water and towels at home?
What I use on my car now is self-cleaning by rain water.
Maybe I speak too much. |
