wine and tvants with Chinese font fix

Refer to this blog entry to install Tvants in wine:
http://linuxclues.blogspot.com/2007/09/tvants-on-ubuntu.html
  1. wget 'http://88.191.73.231/~cali/tvants/TvantsSetup.exe'
  2. wine TvantsSetup.exe
複製代碼
The setup should be OK.
Now, fix the Chinese font problem
1. In the wine config, do not enable any desktop theme

2. Add the font file (I use wqy-microhei for example)
  1. cd .wine/drive_c/windows/fonts/
  2. ln -s /usr/share/fonts/truetype/wqy/wqy-microhei.ttc wqy-microhei.ttc
  3. ln -s /usr/share/fonts/truetype/wqy/wqy-zenhei.ttc wqy-zenhei.ttc
複製代碼
3. Then change the default Windows dialog font in the registry
  1. # edit ~/.wine/system.reg
  2. # and edit the lines under the [Software\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion\\FontSubstitutes] section
  3. "MS Shell Dlg"="WenQuanYi Micro Hei"
  4. "MS Shell Dlg 2"="WenQuanYi Micro Hei"
複製代碼
OK. Now, let's run the Tvants in wine
  1. wine "C:\\PROG~FBU\\TVAnts\\Tvants.exe"
複製代碼
Should work well with Chinese channel names

You may also want to disable the player run by Tvants.

I guessed it should be  " mplayer http://localhost:16900/1.asp" or 2.asp or 3.asp as if noname1, 2,3, document

mplayer mms://localhost:16900/1
# and
mplayer http://localhost:16900/1.asf
# are also ok.

If you have more than one channel added, try
mplayer mms://localhost:16900/2
mplayer mms://localhost:16900/3
...etc.
