virtual host裏面的hostname

mac 唔識,
不過可以試吓咁, edit 一個叫 hosts 嘅 file,
e.g.

guest settings>Network>Adapter ｛1or2or3or4｝>Attached to: A
A default好似係NAT，在NAT，guest可見host，host見唔到guest。
要改成Bridged Adapter 或 Host-only Adapter
其中分別係：
--Host-only Adapter：只有host ping到guest，LAN上的其他機見唔到guest
--Bridged Adapter：guest等於係LAN上的一部機，host同其他機都見到guest

sorry 你好似話ping ip ok, ping hostname唔得。

咁就將hostname定義一係寫在mac，一係寫在router。

寫在mac：唔識
寫在router：係MAC-address（唔係Apple的Mac）同hostname的配對，而MAC-address係固定的。

個Linux係IP係DHCP攞定係Fix IP？如果係Fix IP，DNS用邊個？如果DNS指番去Router個IP，唔知咁樣Ping唔Ping到Linux個Hostname。

樓主請畀多啲 info,
1. 你有幾多張 physical network card(s) ?
2. ubuntu 响邊度攞 ip (isp/router/virtualbox) ?
3. ubuntu 有乜 public service(s) 要出街/local lan only ?

如果只係 local lan, 就好似 #5 chimp 大佬咁講, 用 bridge

你唔用 hosts table 唔得, 除非你有 DNS+DHCP (or dnsmasq 做晒2樣), 自己派 IP, 跟住個vm 個hostname 會自動update返上你個DNS...
