Well I put the new Asus OC bios on my MSI gaming X card tonight to see how it will go.
memory checkerboard/bsod seems to have been resolved. Works like any other graphics card I have ever owned. It is now easy to start an OC session with memory set to +550 from .625v (9100Mhz). Before that would guarantee a white Checkerboard screen and video scheduler BSOD.
If I OC the memory too high, to +600, i Still get blue checkers on the screen as happened before however, it is only on part of the screen and not full screen like it was with the MSI bios.
the Asus card draws less power than the MSI bios but performance in Heaven is slightly better than the best score I could ever get with the MSI bios. (129 on the extreme preset. MSI bios was just over 128)
In Firestrike the best I managed in the short time I have been playing is close to equal of the highest scores I have ever got with the old MSI bios. I am sure with more time, I could beat the MSI bios best score.
