MSI Wind U100 配備 10.2 吋屏幕卻不失輕便度，重量能控制在 1.3kg 以下，是同產品中表現較為突出的一員，使用時感覺不俗，配備 160GB 硬碟更解決了一般 Netbook 產品被指容量不足的垢病；然而，硬件擴充方便則沒有其他產品般方便，需要拆除背蓋對入門用家不太方便。外型設計甚有日風，整體表現不俗，當大家在考慮 Eee PC 或 Apsire One 的同時，不妨也把 MSI Wind U100 放在考慮之列。
