路透引述消息人士稱，Facebook (fb)母公司Meta可能因未遵守歐盟指令暫停數據傳輸，而被罰巨款。
歐盟最高級法院2020年曾警告，[b]Meta把歐洲用戶資料傳輸至美國伺服器的做法不合適[/b]，未有解決關於美國情報機關可能取得數據的私隱關注。
消息人士表示，Meta未有按照上述裁決而暫停數據傳輸，歐盟數據保障機構就有關行為向Meta作出處罰，細節將於短期內敲定，罰款金額可能創下紀錄新高。歐盟私隱機關目前對科技巨擘的罰款最高紀錄，是向亞馬遜處罰7.46億歐羅(64.03億港元)。
Meta拒評上述消息。歐盟及愛爾蘭數據保障委員會(DPC)未有回應傳媒查詢。DPC是監督Meta有否符合歐盟私隱法例的直屬機關。

I don't care about Google etc. but only Tiktok.
