我用traceroute 去CUHK同HKUST,UST就經HKIX去UST
CUHK就去左 telstraglobal.net之後就unreachable
好似亂龍周圍去,本地網站就唔經HKIX去,route左去telstraglobal就去唔到

你試下問下HGC ..睇下FIX 唔FIX 度....但有時, 我覺得佢地會話係對方網站問題.

首先,樓主去唔去倒CUHK個server
因為唔係只得一條路可以去CUHK,而本地網站亦唔一定全部都經HKIX,要視乎ISP 個BGP peering係點set
試咗tracert去CUHK個server,係唔俾trace嘅,但實際上可以去倒www.cuhk.edu.hk

等如你返工,坐轉飛機去台灣,再返來香港返工,無野ga,時間多就無咩所謂,但係打機就慢到hihi

"打機" and surfing websites of CUHK/UST are 2 different things. You didn't mention anything about "打機" in your initial post.
About "打機" - it's impossible to tell whether there's routing or QOS or bandwidth issue without knowing where the servers are located.

打機同上網都係用同一個network,但係無理由去cuhk/ust都route左去台灣先返來香港呀
最正常都係經HKIX去返本地server/data center,無理由去邊度都route出香港,再由外國返來本地server?
仲有,hkix個bandwidth同response點都快過去海,QoS點計都係route返HKIX,再者, HGC都有100GE 去HKIX,唔明點解條network eng 要route去台灣先返港

What if HGC don't have enough bandwidth to route all local traffic through HKIX?
If your focus is not "打機", then I would say there should be nothing wrong for HGC to route the traffic from/to UST and CUHK websites through a longer route as this won't affect your experience much.
Please don't forget that you are just a household subscriber paying less than HK$200 per month. If you have a static route or ping requirement, talk to your ISP but you may need to pay over 100 times more for this arrangement.

正如樓上所說，普通家用寬頻唔會同你睇routing，理得你兜左地球一個圈，總之去到就係正常，local traffic 出左海再返黎唔係乜新鮮事，有可能係本身isp問題亦有可能係對家問題。
要睇routing同幫你執route，你可以apply DIA，但月費你預係100倍或以上。

又係有HKIX唔行要行Transit，淨行SSH駁本地server都可以斷

我公司有部server喺美國，用hgc upload嘢上去，條path明明經he.net嘅hkix peer，hgc都可以qos咗，慢過pccw 10倍。
所以佢哋Qos未必係睇經咩transit同peer。
