Household has this router as secondary WiFi hotspot at home
Primary router is Netgear Orbi

Have a Lenovo E560 (circa late 2016/2017) notebook which connects to the Orbi Wifi without issue; however the E560 CANNOT detect the 5G CPE Pro 2 at all, even if I place the laptop right next to the router...

Have manually setup a connection with the CPE Pro 2 but still the laptop cannot see this router at all

Meanwhile my old smartphones can detect the CPE Pro 2 network without problem

What's the problem with this?  Why the E560 cannot see the network from the 華為 router at all?

估計你用左某D channel係你notebook揀左既地區唔支援

My notebook can detect the Orbi and other neighbouring networks, just NOT the  華為

BTW what Wifi channel are you referring to?

5GHz Wi-Fi --> Channel

盡量揀149-161, 訊號較強
其次36-48, 較弱

That's from the router side...

How about the notebook side?  Is there any channel that I should set, and how?

Set it in device manager (each wi-fi adapter model is different)

I checked the channels of the routers with Wifi Analyzer...
The original home Orbi runs on Channels 13 (for 2.4G) and 36 (for 5G)
While the 華為 runs on Channels 7 (2.4G) and 36 (5G)

Would this be the issue?
I have yet to check the noebook's Wifi adapter settings, but I'll do that soon

But my original Orbi router (Ch 13) can be detected without issue...
Only the 華為  (Ch 7) is not detected

The adapter on the laptop I believe is Intel Dual Band Wireless AC-8260
There's NO channel set option as indicated on the screencap

Have tried, system says the latest driver version is already installed...

Meanwhile I've downloaded the latest driver package for the said adapter
I'll have to check if the driver version from this package is the same as the one already installed
