Just bought Unitek Y-1071 USB 3.0 HDD Dock from 團購.  I was wondering how it compares to the Century USB 3.0 HDD Dock.  Here is the little test I did...

Speed are basically the same...but the most important thing is Century is more than double in price!  Thumbs up for Unitek in providing a good product in a relative cheap price.

Here are some extra benchmarks I did on the Unitek Y-1032/Y-1033 IDE to SATA adaptor...

Unitek Y-1032 with Y-1071(Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620A 320G)



Unitek Y-1033 with Y-1071(WD Caviar SE WD2500JB 250G)



Tested on Gigabyte X58A-UD5 with NEC USB 3.0 Driver 2.0.20.0

ching , which USB 3.0 chip your motherboard is using ? if it is NEC which driver version you are using ?

師兄，隻Unitek Y-1071 USB 3.0 HDD Dock夠唔夠重身，我驚太輕唔穩陣！

If compare with Century, Unitek 唔夠重身，a little bit of 唔穩陣...but it's cheaper than Century.  So, you get what you pay for.
