好早前我已經想買隻 USB 手指，原本目標係買 Sandisk Extreme 32GB，但咁岩見到有師兄既TOSHIBA TransMemory MX 32GB 開箱文，見到唔錯決定改變主意。

買左返黎試左一陣，真係幾滿意，用左 $165 買，感覺好抵買。以上純粹個人感受

要充份利用高速手指
要有 SSD 至得

HDD -> 手指一般 3.5" 都不能全程 100M R （內圈無 100M）
手指 -> HDD 全程 150M W 要 SSD 才做到

Anyone has this stick drive and has used it under XP?
Is it in fact recognisable under XP?

Asking becuz package only states compatibility from Vista/7 onwards

Also is this stick drive being recognised as "Removable Disk" or "Local Disk"

我覺得這LED真係用作 indicator啦，不是用黎照明。有時夜晚挑燈做野用 usb disk，佢盞LED光都刺眼，仲要眨下眨下 tim。暈！！

Sure, but when  you discover how dim the blue LED on the Kingston MobieLite G3 is, you may retract your statement

So not too bright, but also not too dim (next to nothing), that would be just right

Now let's see if ATTO tests show stable transfer read/write
Anyone here have ATTO results on this?

Both MX/EXII do have blue LED though which is good

Still unsure about purchasing one

EXII 32Gb is faster and more expensive than MX $50. EXII is better.

我都剛剛買回來.

我有用crystaldiskmark 和 Atto 測試, 但有唔明
點解4k 時, crystaldiskmark咁低, 只係0.1.
但用Atto測試, 4k有成40MB/s ?

Why??

No, not true
As with other capacities EXII 32GB is also not very stable in transfer speed performance
Results can fluctuate depending on different test parameters

More ATTO test results to be posted soon

The blue LED is NOT static like in other USB stick drives
It does not stay on during idle; only during data transfer will it blink

This IMO is a slight drawback, but still it's better than having NO indicator at all
