lenovo, acer and asus had number of basic laptops with pentium dual core
yes the pdc isn't as good as proper i3-xxxxm
but is good enough to take out i3-xxxxu which has a much lower frequency

配置根本唔關事，就好像EPC D文書機可以係16C 256GB RAM都可以叫係文書機

I3 U 能夠做到

if you read the specs for laptop CPU both normal and ULV, Pentium is actually just i3 CPU with hyperthreating disable. (ignoring GPU side)
For everyday task, its same performance. Not all programs use hyperthreat.

i3 or pentium is powerful enough for everyday task (web browsing, word processing, facebook, HD movies etc.) If you want faster performance, more RAM, SSD, and faster internet is more useful than i5 or i7 (on laptop).
