已申請了一個US的LIVE ID及裝了ZUNE, 睇到US既MARKETPLACE, FREE APP亦裝到, 但想買PAID APP時要入CREDIT CARD資料而多次不能成功登記, 請問有沒有方法解決?
因我想買的SLINGPLAYER在HK ZUNE是買不到的, THANKS!!

以下係本人小小心得，之前我都為左credit card問題搞左一大輪。首先要分清楚D a/c設定先:
1. live id地區選擇 -- 影響到有否Market，因為某D地區個market係未開通，例如香港(依家唔肯定開通左未)
2. 用第一點個live id去activate係要經zune做，而第一次activate個ID會叫你選擇地區，哩度就直接影響用唔用到香港O既信用咭。
我會建議你重新開過一個live id，地區就選美國/新加坡，然後用哩個新ID去zune登記，哩度就選香港區。至於新增信用咭資料，我會建議你去xbox360 HK個度SET，會比較易SET。
溫提: 即使你做到以上，新增信用咭個度有機會唔WORK，至於點解，我都唔知，我係試到由唔PASS好多日突然有日比我PASS囉，打上去xbox度問都問左好多次，唔知點解。ID地址同信用咭登記地址一定要100%一樣同無誤先WORK。最後一提，你要重新開新ID，就要RESET你部手機了~

Hi,
I got your problem before. But now already fixed.
the problem is you register and the Credit car d country is not the same.
What you can do is
Preparation:
- backup all the Phone data, becasuse you need to reset to factory default
- Apply a new Live ID at xxx @hotmail.com.hk. In the registeration, you address must in HK
- Register a HK credit card information at www.Live.com, which is the area that XBOX user put the credit card information.
- Reset your WP7
Now start your WP7
- in the start you need to input Live ID
- Please use the new ID to register your primary account.
- then you can use HK as your home country and use market place.

我個live ID 用左+10年，太多野喇，所以唔可以開新ID。setup時地區係Canada。
問題係我activate Zune 時無睇清楚就click左US (後悔中），現在marketplace 出美金，我嘅HK信用卡又唔accept.
請問有冇其他建議哩？

In the WP7, it can accept more than one Live account.
For me, I use a new accout for the mobile phone.
After set up.
in the Settings-> email & accounts -> add an account
then add the old account name in it.
Then It will automatic load all the old account information to the phone, like phone book, web page info, Blog, etc

yes, I have also consider this method too, to use a new account as primary then my existing account as secondary.
But the drawback is the phone will always sync to the primary account's skydrive. which means Onenote will not sync to my existing account...
I am still looking for other method so solve this... Cannot believe it wont let me change my location to input credit card info.

cannot. as long as your zune account is set at US, then you will see US marketplace and must use US credit card. same as my case, meaning u cannnot buy anything
BUT... I seems to have successfully (好似) "unlink" my zune with my hotmail. Now when I go into marketplace, I see US marketplace. when I click buy, it asked me to setup a new zune account.
I have not proceed further yet. but I assume I can now setup a new zune account -> location use HK then I should able to use my HK VISA to buy. I believe the marketplace will not change back to HK.
maybe you want to try?
by the way... does the app inventory have big difference between US and HK marketplace?

No big difference, but I want to buy SlingPlayer that is not available in HK marketplace.

try my method, unlink your current zune a/c and setup a new zune. Select HK this time when setting up zune then it should allow you to input your HK credit card. Your phone *should* continue to access US marketplace.
Also, when you use Zune desktop, do you see US market or HK's ?

there is a prog called "WP7 MarketPlace Enabler" (google it) developed by the people at The Windows Club, you may want to see if it helps.

I have tried 'marketplace enabler' but not work!
I just want to buy the Slingplayer application which is not available in HK, and got struggled till now with no solution...
I have done the following
1) Change PC location to US
2) go to www.live.com to apply an US hotmail live ID
3) Install Zune and activate using the live ID
4) Browse marketplace and found slingplayer app
5) Click buy and it asks me for credit card info
6) I have even used a US credit card from my friend but it still say the info of credit card is incorrect!!
Can anyone help me? I go to Sin Tak and ask several shops, they all say 'no method'! Thanks.
