How to flash ROM:
1) Download LG mobile support tool
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/client/app/B2CAppSetup.exe
2) Install FlashTool  (R&D Test Tool)

3) Install LG drivers (can skip if you already installed)

4) Install LG mobile support tool
5) Power off your G pro, press Volume Up + Volume Dn keys and then plus-in the usb cable (enter to a download mode)
6) Extract FlashTool and run UpTestEX.exe
7) In R&D Test Tool window,
Select Type = 3GQCT    (top left hand side)
PhoneMode = DIAG       (top right hand side)
Select kdz file = click to select your LG stock rom *.kdz
Click "Normal web upgrade test"  (bottom right hand side)
Then another window "read phone information" pop up, click "Upgrade Start" button
wait a few seconds, another window "Select Country & Language" pop up,
=> Country=Republic of Korea
=> Language=Korea               
you can click ok to proceed (or select language = English or Chinese Simplified PRC)
7) All done and wait for finish

CWM Recovery: (need root access)
This app is help you to install CWM recovery

> Install this apk
> click button 2nd-init Recovery
> click reboot recovery
> then you got it , you can make backup/restore as usual

How to load CWM recovery?
- power off your phone completely
- power on the phone as usual (long press power button)
- it will show up "LG" from the screen... wait
- it will show up "LG" from the screen again... wait
- then it will light up both two LED "back" & "option" buttons ===> get ready and be quick
- press the HOME button immedidately (need do it very quick after two LED button light up)
- that's it, you will load up the CMW recovery

Problem/Issue:

> SMS Limit
1. Find the file featureset.xml in system/etc and open in text editor (Need root access then use root explorer for example)
2. Change the following values
Find <item name="KREncodingScheme">true</item> change to <item name="KREncodingScheme">false</item>
Find <item name="max_user_data_bytes_ex">80</item> change to <item name="max_user_data_bytes_ex">160</item>
3. Save and close then reboot


> Display | Lockscreen doesn't allow to save and your clock
(as if your roaming outside of South Korea. Here's the fix for the the Optimus G Pro lockscreen bug.)

Download SQLite Editor APK, its required for this fix. (https://code.google.com/p/xdroid ... SQLite Editor-9.apk)

Step 1: Open / Run SQLite and open the below sql DB (com.android.providers.settings)
Step 2: Open the "secure" table
Step 3: Edit value to 1 (change it from 0 to 1)
Step 4: Reboot as usual

For K
Find line "roaming_dualclock" and click menu button then edit record.

For S
Find line "skt_roaming_dualclock" and click menu button then edit record.

> Remove KR apps
It invloves testing, don't remove everything in KR text, some normal app will depends on these KR apps
Download SystemApp Remover from Google Play (please make sure make backup)

Factory Reset
When it is off, press Power key +Volume down key => follow the instruction from the screen (i.e. press power again to confirm)

Re-boot in safe mode
When it is on, long press power key, it will pop up to ask whether to re-start or power off , etc
then long press the power off option from the screen... it will asking whether to reboot in safe mode ? (which is reboot and disable all third party apps you have installed)

增强WIFI接收信號

PS: 此值會增強WIFI接收的能量, 一般情況是不需要的。如家中只能收WIFI一格,修改後可能收得好少少吧...用電當然會多少少的啊！
1. 編輯 /system/etc/wifi/bcmdhd.cal
2. looking for

3.修改80為90 or 100，保存退出
4.重啟手機！

For remove KT software
Download SystemApp Remover from Google Play (please make sure make backup)

For dialer KR Text
It need decompile the APK and remove the KR text in XML
It involve compile it again.... It think a little complicate..

BTW, I have the mod version for L and may work in K or S
but I didn't test yet... so I post later

don't worry, once you rooted, you can do anything...
we just backup the apk then can replaced with our modded apk to work

剛修改 build.prop，出錯了，磚了。
再而發現以前用到的 LG flasher，在 F240 上全都用吾到。小心 !!!!!!!!!

幸而用 adb shell restore 返，否則 .......

Pull out the battery
1) press power+vol -   ==> hard reset by pressing power to confirm
2) press power+vol + ==> service recovery mode  (not sure how as all in kr text)

    都有考慮過 hard reset，但想到改了 build.prop，hard reset 也未必可以回復，更不想失去手機的資料。
這之後考慮 flash 返個 rom，最壞打算都係冇得 root，但最終都係吾成功。
最後，著了手機，沒冇畫面情況下，用 adb sehll 進入，居然可以睇到個 fs，最後 mount 返個 system 做 RW，restore 返個 build.prop 才可搞掂。

ok, i have made a mod to disable "shutter sound" and "focus sound"

1) You need your G Pro - rooted
2) download and rename it from "CameraApp3b.apk.nosound" to "CameraApp3b.apk"

Using root Explorer
3) backup your old /system/CameraApp3b.apk by copying to somewhere
4) copy my modded "CameraApp3b.apk" to /system/CameraApp3b.apk
5) set permission as -rw-r--r--

Focus sound is disabled by default
if you want to mute shutter sound, please select Shutter "Tone4" from the camera setting.

小修改，去除撥號的韓文

把 \System\app\ 裡的 Contactsbin.apk 打開，裡面的 drawable-xhdpi 及 drawable-xxhdpi folder 有鍵盤圖像，修改後就可以。
這當然還要 deodex 了才成。

把 Calendarbin.odex decompile，

到 com\android\calendar\adaptation 找出 Config.smali
打開後，找出 .local v11, NoColor:Lcom/android/calendar/adaptation/DayColor;
把下面的 const/4 v4, 0x2 改為 const/4 v4, 0x3

再找
const/4 v4, 0x1
const-string v7, "KoreanLunisolarCalendar"
aput-object v7, v17, v4

在下面加入
const/4 v4, 0x2
const-string v7, "ChineseLunisolarCalendar"
aput-object v7, v17, v4

完成後 compile 返，再放入 Calendarbin.apk 入面，搞掂。

    有冇做 backup(指 frameworks 及 system 的) ？

若有 backup，試試先試用 adb shell 睇下入吾入到去個 file system。若可以，mount 返個 system 做 rw，放返 backup 入去應該可以。

    有做cwm  backup,  原來既app 同framework 既dang檔案都系度。用adb 入 recovery z只系見到個android 機器人訓系度。有冇辦法入返個cwm recovery mode j就好啦。～～adb 點樣push fan返file ??的

    個android 公仔訓系度，做唔度wipe ~~(我系按音量+ +home  + power 入個有LG  圖片同韓國文既情況下用adb recovery 嘗試入，但系只見到android 公仔

但大部份 app 都有 ZH-HK 繁體，轉左個 locale 就會出到繁中。

yes has 農曆, but the calendar listing need tweak to add it back for selection

if you decompile the apk, you can see the source

yes, I think the problem is.... normally update script of "Deodex" will delete all /system/app  & the /system/framework
so not touching any kernel image, wipe will not help

Have you tried online recovery? It seems LG has prg to assist to download and re-store it to stock...
but I never tried and don't know how

    可以一試，

下載 LGMobile Support Tool， http://www.lg.com/hk/support-mobile/lg-P970 有。
安裝好了，打開，在右邊選項和幫助裡，國家／語言 中的第一項選 Republic of korea ，第二項 選 Chinese。
完成後再選 客戶支援中的 緊急復原模式，該會彈出一個對話盒。
這時在 F240 關機情況下，同時按下音量加減，按住不放並接上 USB cable，手機畫面會出現 Download mode，待安裝 driver。
安裝完 driver，可按對話盒的鍵，該會認出你手機型號。
接下來該可看回復畫面。

我只試到這一步，接下來希望可成功。

剛剛系搞掂部機啦～～～好在之前root左同埋做左cwm backup~~依家系gfan搵到個按鍵方式入返cwm recoverary成功restore 返部手機。除了在進入系統開啟軟件,選擇進入recovery模式,然後手機手機重啟進入以外

還有一種開機直接進入recovery的方法
方法如下:
長按電源鍵開機後,注意看屏幕,在屏幕上第二次出現LG的Logo後,返回和菜單這兩個觸摸鍵會同時閃爍一下,
看到觸摸鍵同時閃爍以後（閃左就要按啦～～～我自己試左）,迅速的按一下Home鍵
手機可以直接進入recovery模式!

    試過話系統已經是最新～～～不過下次有OTA update 我都驚 update 唔到。（之前用a850k 就比較好啦～～可以正常OTA到～～不過完成後會再有個更新大約680MB～～～當然連個root都消失埋～～～）
