趕住出門 ，又係暫時OK
建議大家用WIN7/VISTA UPDATE ，而且更新時
唔好上INTEL ACHI

A. Windows Only:
1. Windows Standalone FW Updater: Info and Download HERE
Notes:
a. Should run in XP, Vista and Windows 7.. Run with Administrator elevated command.
b. BIOS SATA mode should be AHCI
c. Preferably with the drive as spare.. not the main OS drive
d. If used on the drive as OS.. you may get a non detection on re-boot.. If so, turn your computer off and wait a few minute and the drive should detect on next Boot.
2. Windows Toolbox FW Updater (Requires connection to the Internet): Info and Download
HERE
Notes:
a. BIOS SATA mode should be AHCI and the drive as a 'spare' for the Tool box to work.
b. Drive must be connected as spare.. not the main OS drive. Run with Administrator elevated command.
c. Does NOT work with Intel RST 10 series drivers installed.
d. Does not work with Windows XP.

其實小弟都係用呢個野，係度二部機(GIGA P43-UMD3)到UP(SSD 非啟動OS)，不過UP之前睇清楚先UP，費時自己手法唔好死左都冇得懶
不過第3定4頁已經有人又係中招
我自已係啟動梗SSD OS 可以SCAN 到隻SSD 不過耐D，P43 一野就得，有D CHING 好似啟動梗SSD OS SCAN 唔到，點都好都就可以SCAN 到佢都會DETECT 到你SSD 有冇行梗OS，有的話佢唔比你UPDATE，UPDATE 幾秒即可，OS 會重新DETECT 到好似新硬件咁樣，一野就自已裝DRIVER

SF have tested 2.08 for 3 weeks and could not replicate 1 crash, they found stuttering using the RST drivers and they replicated this on C300, c400 and the intel drives hence we advised using msahci.
Wendy hit me up last night, her drive was crashing like yours, she followed my install procedure and its been fine for 6 days, with the last 4 days overclocked.
Lets just examine what would cause a drive to vanish from an OS while the OS is running.
The drive is powering down...there is no other reason
The OS tells the drive to go to partial after 100ms of no activity, if there is still no drive activity the OS may tell the drive to go to slumber as soon as you need the drive though the OS tells the drive to wake and you can write to it.
Now.... for an SSD to power down its possible that an incorrect message is being given to the drive.
Or...the drive enters partial, or slumber and upon a request for wake the drive does not respond to the controller correctly and the OS feels the drive has vanished, hence does not write to it, hence BSOD
We have tried to get you all to test power saving features, we have asked SF to look at the partial to slumber code and make sure the drive works as it should. It works 120% for me, im using the MSI GD70 FXA and i have to tell you its one of the most solid platforms I have ever used, i just enquired about the 990GD70 to see if I can test this also...Nico and Ryder also have the FXA and both have reported zero issues with any drives.
So...before we proclaim 2.08 is an epic fail, remember this has been tested by 100+ engineers over many platforms for 3 weeks and not 1 has seen an issue with it apart from what I listed here....
I am seriously beginning to think this is a mixture of setting the drives up right after flashing, getting the install exactly as it should be (even when overclocked) and the boards cleaned of any bugs they may have that may cause communication issues or drive drop outs.
Asrock just hit us up, they are getting proactive, there may be more to this than what meets the eye.
2.02 can not be back flashed, thats already been confirmed. I actually think that FW was more buggy BUT the drives hit you guys set up correctly to allow a fresh install without issues, and since then we have SE'd and messed the drives around in some way that has caused some instability maybe...
Please read and digest what I am saying here, I have not seen 1 BSOD on my Vtx3 from the day i installed it, not 1 and i sleep, hibernate, test and use this platform for 16hrs a day every day..im typing this to you right now on this platform, its my day to day rig.

我用Z68 + agility 3 2.06, 部機長開唔熜, 剩係試過第3日BSOD一次, 隔日BSOD兩次, 之後裝左Intel SSD Toolbox就無再死過啦 (其實唔知有冇關係), 到依家都有5日
