最近得知Intel在高階家用市場推出了接替750的900p，而且是採用新技術(3D X-Point)的顆位後，就在上星期五在newegg hk下單了280G AIC版，昨天早上收貨，再花一晚時間簡單測試。

簡單開箱

設計比以往入手的750更有美感


外盒有實物照，並說明所含部件


現時900p做緊推廣，隨SSD附送星際公民Sabre Raven飛船兌換碼乙組


用界刀把Factory Seal輕輕一割，打開外盒，就見到被包裹著的SSD本體及半高擋片，個人認為比750的膠盒更好


把SSD拿出，放在本人腿上，慢慢欣賞這SSD


睇埋後面，好大一塊背板

食飯先，晚上慢慢更新跑分部分

備註

因為960 PRO已使用接近一年 (今年1月1日買)，而且因CPU及主板所限只能走PCH，而900p直連CPU，所以跑分只供參考

389.99 USD ~= 3,042.22 HKD + 運費(Fedex Intl. Priority) 196.32 HKD = 3,238.54 HKD
而480G不計運費是4600 HKD，但我280G已經夠用

雖然評測方面顯示900p的4k QD1-4比960 pro有優勢，但960 pro本身足夠快，所以日常用不會感到太大分別

你去newegg hk (https://www.newegg.com/global/hk)，就可以直運香港
如果嫌直運運費要近HK$200太貴，又不介意等，可以在us site訂+用集運

amazon us就仲未有amazon 自己賣的900p，現有的都是third-party seller

Best SSD at the moment (other than 900p 480GB).

BTW must it be ran using Intel CPU?
and it uses a PCI-E 3.0 x4 lane?
Also, can it run as boot disk?

It may be best *consumer-grade* SSD, as it is indeed a lite version of Intel enterprise-grade Optane SSD DC P4800X.

This is virtually a 3D XPoint NVMe SSD, which uses a PCIe 3.0x4 lane. Same as other NVMe SSDs, It is bootable when BIOS supports so, and can be used with AMD CPU.

見到呢D速度，真係有D心動，因為未玩過M2同PCIE SSD，請問下C兄如果Samsung 960 PRO M2 插槽可唔可以直連CPU？？
底板係x99 sabertooth 宜家用緊一張display，所以Lanes一定足夠。

M2 PCIe SSD連CPU抑或PCH視乎底板走線，跟SSD本身無關。連PCH的話的延遲、速度理論上會稍差於直連CPU。

Sabertooth X99底板的M2 Connector係直連CPU，而我塊X299-E Strix的M2 Connector就因為要就Kaby Lake-X，所以要連PCH。
