As per my experience, 金屬殼 has an edge in heat dissipation. In addition, it also helps to reduce vibration.

software is ok la. can use xunlei download (no other nas support now) and I mainly focus on file sharing (SMB) or VPN+SMB/FTP, performance also good...
espcially like the HDD led is in front of the HDD instead of some Q/S is in the left hand side.

呢係列個設計係外置牛 (機身矮d), 又要預埋 PCIe loading, 隻牛太大 power 的話散熱唔掂。

If we just emphasize on the outlook, I like the one below. However, its CP ratio is way too low (SRP is too high). People would then argue, the DSM worths every penny.
