部Qnap  TS-212P最近update完4.3.3.0210 build 20170606後重啟時,  Qsync顯示 偵察不到連線。
而NAS 上的status就綠燈/紅燈每秒交錯閃爍；及 约5分鐘嗶一聲。
情況一直超過1小時。
以往 firmware update完都未試過此情形。
關電源再開機，情況一樣。
RESET制，無反應。

有冇人試過？怎可解決？
部機2014年買，只backup公司文件，冇玩其它野。

試下用Basic system reset (唔好用Advanced system reset)

試過按RESET 3秒 或 10秒，部機都系冇返應。

as per your info, the nas has been doing fine
encountering 死機 right after firmware update
it seems the cause of the problem is the new firmware ... i guess

My TS-228 had similar experience when update firmware to 4.3.2.
Tried to boot several times... failed.
As the router was not able to detect it, the only thing I can do is to shutdown by LONG PRESS the power button (longer than 5 seconds, although normally 5 seconds can turn off).
Afterwards, 'magically', it runs normal.

QNAP firmware upgrade is NIGHTMARE!

Have you created ticket for their support?

Yes!  How come their quality is so .... bad

For a matured firmware, the update process has to be absolutely smooth and problem free.

你試下remove哂D harddisk出黎再power on, 睇下qsync搵唔搵到自己?

Yes ... but that 陰影 can't go away in short

Just in about a week after switching to S, the 4.3.3 disaster happens, pretty scary

之前都有衣個問題，間中發生，佢地認在係Bug新rom會改善，我想問下你部機熄機有冇beep聲，我熄在都仲有話我部機有問題叫我拿去保養，想知係未只有我係咁！

I turn on the NAS occasionally when needed.
It has a long beep on every shutdown (before and after firmware upgrade).
FYI. QNAP support have never suggested me to take to the support center.

If your NAS after setting untick still have beep sound that seems like hardware problems, need to replace new one for you. 

咁即係，其實拿去換都有相同問題啦，根本解決唔到，好彩未拿去！

Did you send the NAS to Altech?

I just found that this problem can be fixed by update the MCU FW manually by command.
佢咁覆我了，即係根本係Bug

已給Altech幫手重刷FIRMWARE，非常感謝，過了保，也肯幫手！
如硬件出問題，他們也冇辦法，好彩是FIRMWARE
現在正常運行

自己用開S牌都成日update,冇諗過會up死(除非up緊停電)

Yes, S updates are quite stable

ps. Recently switched from Q to S ... just before the QTS 4.3.3 incident

因為之前佢叫我維修拿過去的，衣家唔駛，同埋衣個Bug唔會fix
What the....
It is not possible to fix it with Firmware update. 

Can you enable remote support for us to help you update the MCU FW?

我都係用 qnap 212...用過 firmware 4.x.x 直頭入 admin page 都覺得慢到唔知想點...後來經 qnap fb page 問可唔可以 down 返去 3.x.x...原來係可以直接 flash...而家爽返晒...

that means 4.x.x is quite 大食
for those who like to play with newer firmware, need to buy a new NAS
