我未搞掂個mythbuntu,
暫時用另一部裝左fedora的來播片，上網睇串流，
用HDMI接駁的，發覺的聲音比以前用windows差好遠下，
有時仲拆拆地添。
請問會係器材問題還是在linux裡要怎樣設定聲音呢？

"alsa" and "pulseaudio" are the two main audio systems of linux. you should choose your audio system carefully, it is very difficult to change from one system to another (from my experience). i like pulseaudio because it is easy to set up and config.

why i think pulseaudio is better than alsa ? alsa is a one-to-one system which means it can serve only one application at one time, so that you can only either listen to youtube or vlc. on the other hand, pulseaudio work as a proxy server, it can serve many applications at one time, therefore, you can watch movie at the front but still listen music from youtube at the same time. so if you want to know which system is using, why don't you try it yourself. also, vlc has option for your audio system, you can also try that too.

用緊 gentoo，alsa 係可以多個一個 apps 同時用咖，
唔係只有一個 audio level，我用緊。
不過當然係跟返 distro default 最好，唔洗煩。
pulseaudio 好似因為 firefox 要用，所以好多 distro 係 default

sorry my info was out-dated. i have checked with archwiki, alsa do can output from multiple sources either when your hardware is supported or by using plugin "dmix".

most recent fedora default is using "pulseaudio"

睇黎 17.04 似係冇預載 ALSA,傳聞改用 JACK 似係真,但我未試裝 17.04,樓主可自行睇睇係咪 SETTING 有個叫"JACK" 之類選項

找不到有叫Jack的東西。
我另外發現如果部AV AMP選擇stereo係無咩事，
播歌聽歌都好似無咩事，
係播片時選其他咩劇院模式、THX什麼什麼之類，
聲音就好易拆、咁會唔會係都播放軟件要調教些什麼呢？

如果用JACK裝qjackctl就應該連其他必要嘅野都裝埋。

if you want to use ubuntu, then you have to learn how to use ubuntu. one problem for linux is it has no standard package management. for ubuntu, you can install / uninstall software from command line or from software center, but you better only using one. pulseaudio is a command line program, although it will show some windows after run. some distro will have a front end icon for pulseaudio, but it is not part of the pulseaudio. if you really can't find a button for pulseaudio, you can type "pulseaudio" from the command line. don't worry, your computer will not expose. reinstall a linux distro is just half an hour work, and you don't need to activate it. good for 手多多people.

i am not using ubuntu, but there are some common command can help you. e.g. "ps" can list all running processes.
you run the "音效設定" and type "ps -Af" in the terminal, it will give you some hint about what is "音效設定". i found that quite useful, for example, after i installed "scim", but i am not sure if it is running, i can type "ps -Af | grep scim". if scim shows up, it is working.
back to your problem, yes, please type "pavucontrol" in the terminal, a window will show up, it won't hurt. if it say pulseaudio is not running, you are not using pulseaudio, try other program.

ubuntu好似冇預先裝pavucontrol, 你可以試下係terminal直接打pavucontrol, 如果話未安裝, 可以係terminal打sudo apt-get install pavucontrol, 安裝後應該可以係menu搵到(全名叫pulseaudio volume control), 搵唔到就係terminal直接打pavucontrol

噢！原來咁。又咁奇怪裝個軟件唔連控掣，而要另外裝控掣咁得意既！
我裝左啦，但奇實都無咩對聲音方面調教可以做，出來的聲一樣拆的。
唔通係部機問題！但之前用windows時雖然唔係講得上挸聲、
但起碼唔會拆聲。唉。。。。唔知點算好！
