Hi
Can any CHing suggest an inexpensive prepaid mainland SIM which can bought in HK? Where to buy? (Preferably available in Wanchai or CWB.)
It is needed for receiving SMS in HK for mainland transaction verification.

I guess you want to keep that mainland number for long term.
According to time equal to money, the best way is that contact your mobile phone ISP to join additional package for mainland number service.
