Planned to buy an Intel G2 (G3 is no where to be seen in Canada yet, neither did I know that G3 is already out when I go buy my SSD). Unfortunately that store no longer have G2. My Rich and Nice Aunt offered to gift me a 510 series... you could fill in the rest of the story.
System:
Intel Core i5 2500K (no OC, TurboBoost enabled)
Kingston Genesis something something 1600MHz 2GBx2
AMD Radeon HD6850 (irrelevant info -_-)
Corsair VX550W (irrelevant info @@)
ASUS P8P67 Rev 3.0 (P67 issue fixed board)
and obviously, Intel Solid State Drive 510 series 120GB

原計劃買 Intel G2 (當時不知道G3已出 -_-)，不料店裡沒G2。有錢又好人的姑姐offer送510給我…之後的大家懂
沒有使用SSD的經驗，也不知道該跑什麼測試。只知道一個Crystal Disk Mark，那我就發一發Crystal Disk Mark的成績吧。師兄想我測其他測試的話就叫，最好把軟件下載link也發一發。
System:

"g3"係大家expect intel新ssd系列命名
但係到最後intel 都係放棄呢個名
改為推出320同510系列 ...

一日未知價好難講...倒頭來可能只會買返G2
講真咁睇落去,G3真係唔知有咩優勢

Switched into another port, better performance!
and now I'm starting to grow concern about how it would perform on my own x58 with Marvell SATA3...
Apparently P67 SATA3 has better support to Intel SSDs than Marvell...

Anantech said the Vertex 3 120GB will cost $250USD.
However later OCZ saw the G3 is so slow.
They increase the price to $280USD.
Fxxk you OCZ, also why Intel make the G3 so slow, fxxk you too Intel, I'm just joking ; )
So expect about $2200HKD in Hong Kong.
