朋友電腦  洋垃圾 雙XEON CPU，有28核56程，好似好勁
但他指是多年前的組合

未知現時還值得這樣做嗎？
因2粒CPU也要 $2500 X 2，底板也沒有一般大眾品牌，RAM 也要買ECC

效能真的值得嗎？若和AMD 新CPU比較，如何選擇呢？
主要剪片、PS、lightroom

Suppose the core frequency is only 2.0Ghz, even 28C56T is still nothing, one AMD 3900X already beat it! So let us know the exact model of CPU

Subject on your usage, ask your friend to run a test on Cinebench R15 or R20, and let you know the result, thence you would know it doesn't make sense to play "洋垃圾" la

E5-2683 V3 = product of 2015, and price @2500 is for 2nd hand stuff

For Photoshop, PS and lightroom, Cinebench R15 or R20 would be a good reference for you to make the decision!

Uptodate, only 1 piece of AMD 3900X 3.8Ghz (12C24T) almost equivalent to dual E5-2683 V3!

Adobe已經俾AMD追上了
INTEL只係略有優勢彌補唔到效能差距
砌部ITX用一粒3950X勁過Xeon E5-2683 v3三倍以上
就算雙路Xeon E5-2683 v3+INTEL優勢都救唔返

雙CPU主要睇下供電(電費仲有隻好D既牛)同散熱(風冷、間房要唔要開冷氣幫手散熱=電費UP)，另外用洋垃圾都要考慮下兩粒U都經過咗好多年既鍛練身體，到底係操FIT咗定係搞到七勞八傷，而且係兩粒是但一粒出事都會死機不穩定。

特別係煙條後期D XEON係有轉變，搞到果批新D既洋垃圾無得用嚮普通底板，即係要用就繼續用果堆越黎越少貨既洋垃圾，同埋唔知粒底板晶片重用咗幾多次既所謂『全新』底板。

以前洋垃圾值得玩，除咗U係退役無耐又平又多核，板都仲叫有新或者係真二手，同埋初出既DDR 4都算貴，而家就真係唔值，畢竟又過咗兩三年，U板既情況，大家都明

1. 9th C-Hing explained very clear why we don't need a 2nd hand platform based on the same $$$$$ we need to buy.

2. To be fair, I push for AMD 3900X are based on the similar budget with a DUAL E5-2683 V3 PC. With the same $$$$$ and performance, why we need to use old stuff?

3. Even you need a more powerful workstation, you can have TR series such 3950X or 3970X, or even the X299 platform of Intel. It's another level...

修正一下，3950X仲係AM4，特別勁既B450板都推得到，要3960X到3990X開始先至到TRX4
