The notebook is so old, It really doesn't worth to take the risk to spend the money to buy a new one in HK.
You may try to find one with the right voltage and power plug, as the current limit is usually not so demanding ( if the battery is still working, charge it for while before power up)

樓主都冇話係買二手, 佢只係想問有冇人借隻牛比佢試, 想多了
意見：一般二手laptop放售都跟火牛，就算原廠壞左都跟雜牌，無牛跟無得試中伏機會極大，二手laptop多如天上 ...
