A lot of CHing at post76 forum have fiber HDMI of different brands.
FIBBR is a brand with HK distributor. If you buy it, buy only HDMI 2.0a 18Gbps compliant version. I have two coworkers using it, for Sony projector and Benq projector.
I use a cheaper brand SGO - beware it has different variants with almost similar specs (the key difference being the maximum possible length) but at different prices - choose the most expensive type. Only the product description of its most expensive type cable contains measurements. Another coworker and I tested it with Sony TV, Sony projector and Panasonic TV.
Note that it is always a slight gamble using this type of product, because if the devices the fiber HDMI connect to do not offer enough power for its converter electronics, then it will not be compatible. Older type of this product has an additional connector to draw power from something else, e.g. USB. |
