[操作疑難] How to change the wireless region of Netgear R8500 from Japan to America

Just bought one R8500 from Japan Amazon. But the region is locked to Japan and cannot change. Already tried firmware upgrade but still cannot. Any C Hing can help me? Thanks

Japan Amazon has discount for ~ HK@1200 only. Quite cheap so buy one.

Hi C Hing, does the JP version of the R8500 come with a 100-240v power adaptor, or is it 100v-120v only?

No, you need to buy a step down transformer. 80W should be ok. 19Vx3.2A
