This seems to be an issue with DSM instead of the HDD itself.

Dsm  係咪6.2.4 update2  以上？
第二隻S 記舊版本 6.3 有沒有試過隻新harddisk?

我剛check過你呢隻都係唔係supported list 內. 你插入去用時有冇prompt 你話唔支援, 但你照用嗎? ...

我今晚拎隻hard disk 去PC到delete晒啲parition再quick format 試下再當新hard disk咁, 睇下得唔得先.

A workaround:

Most of the retail stores allow customer to return the "faulty" unit and exchange for another item (technically, it could be any item) within 7 days (or even 14 days), I did that a couple of times.

If you don't want to waste your time in handing this compatibility issue, return the HDD and exchange for another model.  I think you just need to print the NAS critical screen, as evidence.  And you may need to pay for the price difference if you're going to exchange for a more expensive product.

多謝你advice先. 我成個NAS都係Toshiba碟, 我又唔想轉第2個牌子, 但Toshiba 8TB 只有呢個型號.
