上官網睇可以加DDR3L 4GB 師兄們會去邊到買? 或者值唔值得買 ?
定係賣左佢 換隻4bay實際D呢?

所以建議去淘/亞馬/新蛋 定係香港買抵玩 ?

if行貨, 趁有warranty，放咗佢，等新model.

Up 918+ 4bay, then個兩隻external照用.

有external / cold backup,  安全過Raid.

利申：有2部NAS and 1 pc win10 同時24*7,
另外再有cold backup.

我想主要係4bays 分開兩組行raid 1 一邊bt一邊放相data之類

I think "rollingboat " CHing refer to use the existing (old) NAS to use it as offline back up.

I have similar setup.

I bought my new 918+, I still keep my old 211 as offline backup (I set it up the 211 will wake up at certain time, E.g. Monay 10 am.  Then, the 918+ will start backup to 211 at Monday 10:10 am.
I also setup 211 will auto switch off at Monday 11:45 am.

In this way, it can be backup automatically!

To play save, I still do plug in the 2.5" USB drive for the 3rd / 4th backup!  :)

i am also using 218+
Added extra 8G ram (Kingston )

6TB HDD x2 Plug inside, raid 1 mirror storage photo mainly.
500G Ext-HDD for BT (also as temp BT buffer storage )
500G Ext-HDD for storage some not important things.
