想考Linux LPI

本身對LINUX 有小小底.....但我都知道考試同自己玩既野LINUX ( 常用 ) 可能有出入....如果買書 / 睇耆...自己..有冇可能PASS ? 同埋網上有好多試題.....其實準唔準呢 ?

LPI is completely MC based, because of that, the questions may tend to be as much tricky as possible...... Personally I think take RHCSA and RHCE, which is performance based are better.

As you mentioned questions are available on the net, yes, they are quite accurate (same as any IT test which are MC based)

Level 1两卷考了一卷，只背Oreilly本雞晶書包不完所有考試問題除時肥佬，基本上要深入研究和實機上去測試

參考書你可以去Amazon / 圖書館 / 大6 dangdang.com買簡體版
LPI LINUX CERTIFICATION  IN A NUTSHELL，我手上的是3rd Edition。要上www.oreilly.com睇下係咪最新版。LPI有改個考試課程，不要在圖書館借錯舊版考試的書。

另外，要再找多兩本書惡補，一本是BASH、另一本SQL (database)你就跟LPI考試範圍去圖書館找本關有覆蓋範去實習

操練LINUX，起碼要一套Debian base Linux: Debian / Ubuntu; 另一套就係RPM package - Fedora / openSUSE / CentOS

最後提醒，設記不能只背答案，每個topic佔分比不同，有些佔分高的低分的又不能不溫，要實際用電腦演練、睇manpage做點筆記、Google 教程 (因為oreilly本書不會全包所有parameter用途，筆記記下對將來工作有用不用再去日後工作再惡補)

LPI's scope is pretty diverse I would wonder how does the course to be designed.

At that time I spent most of time doing the install of Gentoo Linux again again and again, I found it really helps my knowledge of Linux foundation.

But for the time/$ on taking those course, I think you subscribe to Linux Journal, spend the time on Perl/Ruby/Python + Database may be more worth.
