無乜可能一開始就由React Native 起手，太難了。講真就算本身識 Programming 嘅人都未必輕易上到手

我自己由native android （kotlin ） 轉左做 react-native
我承認有少少低估左 react framework 既 learning curve
如果要學埋主流framework 例如redux, saga 等
需要好強既 js 基礎及大量時間
同埋 除非你真係做死 android／ios 單邊 platform
否則要搞native component for 兩邊platform
你無咁上下既native 底
係無可能做到。

我琴日去圖書館, 有一本書介紹, javascript: the good parts.   
有無邊D COURSE online, 可以由最基礎教起, 有無咩練習可以打好個底..

其實react native仲有無前途?

開發唔覺簡單左, 因為learning curve太難

learn once, write everywhere, learn果下懶左野

market好似唔係好接受到, 好多都仲係用緊native, 搵人接手都易些

市場有需求, 寫 RN 的其中一個好處是寫一次, IOS 和 ANDROID 都能用
以這點來說跟可能 UNITY 差不多
至於需求量, 或多或少罷了, 公司也在找 RN 的人, 只是一直招不到.
不過我同意如果你自己沒 Web 的認知, 去寫 RN 會比較辛苦.

You probably want to build some React web app before trying out React Native. You can build a frontend web client using React, but you would still need to build a backend and API for anything that requires validated data storage.

On the other hand, you can totally use some prototype friendly framework like MeteorJS to skip the backend and API building part. Here is a TODO list app tutorial using React and Meteor: https://www.meteor.com/tutorials/react/creating-an-app

更係有前途... 唔駛Mac機.. 唔駛Xcode寫到iOS app.. 做到provision.. 出到ipa.. 有前途到不得了...
