it can be much faster because Milestone support 10.2Mbps download speed. Your upload speed is also good because Milestone supports 5.76Mbps HSUPA speed.

I am sure if you go to a good reception area, download speed may be about 3500 to 4000kbps. Which is really cool!!!

Smartone service seems very good.

I think I will have to give them a call and see what package they can offer me.  

Do you think Smartone will let me  join their service without signing a contract.  i want to sign a contract later when Sony Ericsson X10 releases next month.  I can then get the phone for a reduced price or free.

no, I think PCCW  is Slightly faster than CSL.....I'm Using 3.6Mps PCCW Test speed
PCCW DL speed is 3015K - (page2 post#13)   vs  CSL DL Speed 2186K-(page2 post#16)
