DVI-I or DVI-D for HD6850 or GTX560SE?

What is the DVI接口 for these two cards?  My LCDTV have HDMI overscan problem and just have HDMI and VGA connector.  I am current using DVI-I 接口 convert to VGA to LCDTV.

I heard Nvidia driver can solve HDMI overscan problem but not for AMD.  Is that correct, and how?

Which TV you are using?

For ATI(AMD), you can use non original HDMI adaptor or DVI-HDMI cable, CCC/AVECC will detect plug input and switch to DVI mode output (non-scaling).

For NVIDIA, you can try disable sound output at NVIDIA control panel.

DVI-I is included digital(DVI-D) and analog(DVI-A) signal, but cannot use of same.

Vsmart.  It has only hdmi and vga input, no dvi input.

I am using SevenTeam 350BKV power supply with Galaxy Geforce 8800GS but it hang recently.  I think of how to lower the frequency to make it work.  Otherwise I need to buy a new 6850 or 560SE to replace it.  However, I am afraid the DVI interface of the new cards are DVI-D and it cannot convert to analog VGA input at Smart LCDTV.

The HDMI input of Vsmart have overscan problem.  It cannot fit the full screen and all wordings have shadows and bright margin.

I heard some CHing here said Nvidia can convert something like the colour range set from 15-250 RGB to full range.  Does it solve the overscan problem?
