Need advice on AMD graphic card

Looking for such card for building new system with w7p64 (with older spec hardware of course)
Anyone knows which current AMD cards are still compatible?
Also will need to have DVI port for older monitors...

No absolutely preference in brand (although XFX is more preferred)
Will not be used for any gaming, just photo/video stuff

Better to list the cpu and mb that you are using, also what is you budget?

For cards that don't have dvi port to monitor, you can buy dvi/hdmi adaptor or hdmi to dvi cable.

Example: x79 Deluxe, i7-4930k

I know about those adapter plugs but I don't want something like that to be dangling between the connections

you may go with Strix RX470 or RX580 from asus. with 2 DVI Port is available.
Its a AMD card and driver does support windows 7 aswell.
Should be able to find it through used market.
Price may vary though.

Your mb has pcie 3.0, any video card from amd or nv will be fine. What card are you using now and budget for new card?

Right now is not good time for new card due to  mining. Cards are very expensive and many models are out of stock.

some cables are dvi head to hdmi head, no adapter required.

    My suggestion is to avoid AMD cards completely due to my bad experience with their driver. i used to be a die hard fan of AMD card due to it's color presentation. Now i switched to Nvidia.

I have NV and AMD cards, no issue with their driver.
