    do they open each drive to see which model of the drive used? which has USB port integrated  on the HDD itself?

    this is what you said. read the above quote.

i just add some additional comment. for normal users, they don't care how long it will last until the drive is faulty and can't copy out their data cheaply.

WD (或更多廠) 將USB 同SATA 合併左，當chipset一炒就極難救 hdd，正正係你講既car crash 仲加送全車著火，咁樣既usb hdd 送比我都唔用
