[購買問題] WD Blue (WD20SPZX) any good?

Thinking of getting this for my next ext HDD build
Originally anted a Black (WD10JPLX) but was told it'ts been discontinued...
Even though some stores may still have one left it's extremely risky to get it as any failed tests under DLGDIAG would mean straight to RMA (takes a month or so)......

Anyway has anyone used the WD20SPZX?  Is it much flimsier than the typical 9.5mm HDD form?  How's the performance??

Any take??

WD20SPZX is using SMR, poor performance and low reliability, better choose a HGST 1TB version with PMR to instead

Yeah I heard about the 20SPZX's SMR problem...
Problem is that, the HGST 1TB = WD's Black WD10JPLX is said to be DISCONTINUED, according to the distributor Zodiac... and thus no new orders could be fulfilled...

Also HGST has two 1TB (2.5") versions available, and only the 24x7 version is said to be reliable...
But even so these two items have been off Jumb0's list

HOWEVER... when I emailed WD customer support to address the HDD issues, they said there's NO indication of WD10JPLX's discontinuation......

So which side is true??
Yes I want to stick to WD10JPLX but if I get another one and the DLGDIAG long test fails, then I'll have NO choice except to add a few bucks for the WD20SPZX substitute......:(

The Price.com.hk list is of NO use
Oftentimes those stores don't have the said model in stock and so they have to special order from the distributor if necessary

Same thing goes to WD10JPLX...
And right now, only ONE store still carries this model -- the VERY LAST one
So if I get it and it fails DLGDIAG test, what should I do?
I can still take the risk, get one, and if DLGDIAG long test fails, bring it back to Zodiac and exchange it for the WD20SPZX (for a little $$)... but is this really worth it??

BTW, the Price link y ou'pve posted, corresponds to the HGST model with MUCH LESS reliability (ie. NOT the 24x7 one with better motor)
