do you setup the tftp server? the x.bin should placed at tftp server (your server ip is 192.168.1.1 or 10?) then load the x.bin from this server.

把电脑ip指定为 192.168.1.254（其它也行，跟下面对应）。打开TFTPServer.exe（这是一个cisco的软件，很方便，百度一搜就有）。或者tftp32. 把固件放相关目录。架设xxx.bin

（因为uboot限制，这里只能用 4m的固件。长度必须小于0x3c0000）

然后

在命令行中输入
ar7240> setenv ipaddr 192.168.1.88;
ar7240> setenv serverip 192.168.1.254;

将固件拷到路由器内存里
ar7240> tftpboot 0×80000000 xxx.bin;

I normally use 2 separated pc, one for server and one for ttl, the if server is 192.168.1.254 as above, the xxx.bin must locate correctly at the tftp server folder (安装并打开Tftpd32，将Current Directory设为固件程序*.bin的存放目录) it will show the following -

Using eth0 device
TFTP from server 192.168.1.254: our IP address is 192.168.1.88
Filename 'xxx.bin'
Load address: 0×80000000
Loading: ...........

when open the tftp32, you should see the default folder and make sure you can see the xxx.bin file in this folder (use show folder), and it also show up the server interfaces (the ip of server). this is what we are doing as you already see the ar7240> means ttl connection is done. now the problem seems only the connection to tftp server (TFTP32)
