raid 5 is slow on all old model with non-atom cpu? 以前全部人行raid 0 /1 ?  are you sure?  ...

you can check smallnetbuilder for the performance

sure you can still use raid 5 just slower
but then what's the point of using that?
using 2 sets of raid-1 with larger harddisk is more cost-wise
