hi guys i have a few Qs about WD My Book Live, hope you can help:

1) does it have auto on/off function (i dont want it to be powered on all the time when it is connected to the router...)

2) can iphone/ipad UPLOAD files to it through the wifi network? (i know they can download/view files from it, but not sure about upload)

guys, a few more Q about WD My Book Live wish you could help:

1) is it backup app (Smartware) good?  will it slow the system down a lot?

2) what are its weaknesses compared to NAS (which is more expensive)?
