我認同呢個價唔算得上貴，呢個size 之中佢算係做得最好。。。我唔會用佢同iPad2 以及其他呎吋既平板比，大家都唔同用法。

見到你張＂四機合照＂，我都有D 想整番張W500 + Transformer + iPad2 + Flyer + 7IT + Galaxy Tab + Streak, 哈哈！

Are you enjoying the HTC Flyer?  It is nice isn't it?

I actually prefer it from the Motorola Xoom because it is so light and easy to carry around.  With the Xoom I never took it out of the house because it was heavy and no 3G support.

I am taking my Flyer to work and even at lunch time I am carrying the Flyer with me. It is fun.

Tomorrow I am going to show my friends the flyer since every Friday we have a lunch gathering. I am sure my friends will enjoy playing with it.

You mentioned that you can use the 1010 LTE Sim card? It works fine?

How much does the plan cost? It is really faster than the Smartone-Vodafone service?

Yup... I really like the HTC Flyer... The experience is even better than the Galaxy Tab, in terms of speed, camera, memory and built-quality, not too mention about the Hand-writing function. But i think the screen of Galaxy Tab beats HTC Flyer!

Yes the price is a little high for a 7" device but then you have to take into account that the pen costs about HK $800 and now HTC is also giving out a free folder case which is work $250.

So about $1000 woth for the 2 items.
If you deduct $1000 from the street price of the HTC Flyer 3G, it will cost about the same or slightly more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7".

If you buy a Galaxy Tab 7" you will buy the original case separately right, you will not get it for free.

Well... In my area, CSL is faster than SmarTone-Vodafone. But the flyer doesn't support LTE and dc-hspa+... It only suports up to 14.4M, so its pointless to use the LTE sim card on it. However, if you are using smartone's power 28 plan, then you can get a really fast download speed close to 14.4M! Of course it depends on location.

I called HTC and they said they will be sending out the free cases after a month.

They said that they have many guys who registered. I told them I don't beieve it because i registered the first day the product was released and on that day not many people had the product because many didn't even know the product was avaialble.

People like to pull my leg like as if they got 100 registerations on DAy 1 and now they are up to 500 registerations or something.

Honestly it takes ages to get things done in Hong Kong. Everything gets released late.

Its readable under sunlight... but still the glare is quite strong. Would be the best to get a anti-glare screen protector.

One of the downside is even though it has 1G Ram, but only about 230MB is free to use under the stock Rom

Yes but according to XDA members, once the device gets rooted you may be able to make phone calls with the HTC Flyer.

I am assuming that one would use a bluetooth headset to make calls with these 7" devices because they are too big to hold as a regular phone. Lol!!!
