  To promote Linux, especially Debian.

  Debian Testing (Squeeze); Should also work on any Debian-based distro

For comments and discussion regarding tutorial details, please try to put that in the relevant child threads if possible. (e.g. lighttpd vs apache)

For general comments and suggestions on the OVERALL tutorial, post it in this thread pls. (e.g. Corvus would you consider sharing with us how you could setup the Debian box to do some backup on my other home machines? )

  FTP一早寫好左, 應該呢兩日會post
Gallery2/3要等多一排.

抱歉 **這有個清楚一些的**, GUI 吃很少資源, 想看您 debian 上的 gui 快不快。不是說 gui 的 server, 只是想要的時候可以開, 而吃不了多少, 你有 2GB. KMS, GEM 攪的死去活來 現時 X, fluxbox, gkrellm, firefox, scim , 百GB 的 file copy, CPU 是 27%, RAM 是 228MB 而已。(swap=none)

EDIT: ** 有些 GUI 的 performance數字** 目前 modeset=1 是死定。
不好意思，在樓主的帖，貼他人的 link。link 內主要是 findings / facts，樓主的是 solution。
實情 #3 原意是徵樓主開個 GUI 的 section。
