shiseido HD test, 65 & 100Mbps mkv files

I had problems with your original shiseido HD test files. So I have now redone the files in a mkv container with the correct flags.


These files should now test if dxva  is setup correctly to work with mkv (h.264).

Both files were tested using pII 720be , 780G

media player classic, cyberlink dxva (purecodec) - usiing different deinterlace option in my ati control panel. - 2-6% cpu, smooth
media player classic, coreavc with hardware deinterlace (purecodec) - around 45-70% cpu, smooth
media player classic, ffdraw (pure codec) - around 35-40% cpu, jerky video, jerky sound


1080i file - good test to see how well different deinterlace options work.

1080p file - I've remuxed the sound back in.

the 65Mbps one works but the 100Mbps neither KMPlayer nor PDVD9 can play it...

mmmm, thats odd. I tried kmplayer and that work as well.... But I am using the purecodec pack. Not sure if that makes a difference. I don't have powerdvd9 install. Just powerdvd7.

I assume urs is set to dxva, can you try it set to coreavc to see if it works?

yahoo - Yet I just extracted the sound from the 65mbps file and remux the sound back into the 100mbps file.

just tested both ccc 9.9 and 9.10

vector deinterlace does not work properly with my onboard 780g
