- Re-compile the whole kernel from archos latest kernel source code
- Suggested to use with newest chulri's initramfs
- Overclock to 1200Mhz

2011-03-04: 最新測試 kernel 出爐, 請各勇士幫忙試下 (myTV 用 1200/1200 都好順!!!)

Best settings in /data/local.prop:

connection.concurrent=100
ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1
dalvik.vm.execution-mode=int:fast

Steps:
1) 先去官網下載最新的 2.1.02/03/04 firmware, upgrade

2) 去呢度 download 最新的initramfs
(firmware 2.1.02):

3) avos_2.1.0X_temproot.zip 呢個 file 入面已經有埋個 kernel, 但如果你要 OC (overclock to 1200Mhz), 你要去 download 我個kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=897877

File: zImage_archos_2.1.03_recode01 (initramfs.cpio.gz of firmware 2.1.03 is included in the zip file)

4) zImage_archos_1200_ext4_fix07.zip 呢個 file 入面有 initramfs 和 zImage, zImage 是 kernel

5) 按實 Vol- 開機, Recovery System -> Developer Edition Menu -> Flash Kernel and Initramfs

如不要 overclock
   6) 把 step (3) 的 initramfs 和 zImage 由電腦抄過去, 即OK
如要 overclock
   6) 把 step (3) 的 initramfs 和 step (4) 的 zImage 由電腦抄過去, 即OK

7) Reboot. 按實 Vol- 開機 Developer Edition (第二個選項)

8) Rooted and OC, enjoy

請問用這方法root之後，如果萬一想返轉頭，點樣可以unroot番？

正常 boot, 唔好 boot 入 developer edition 就OK

1280/1200 都得.
因有D人話1280無咁穩定.
但我就無問題

Ching, update o左新Fireware後，係唔係會用唔到0.3 SDE？要等Sauron Update佢個initramfs?
不過我諗Sauron只會Update0.5果個，唔會Update 0.3果個....
都係諗清楚先update個fireware...
