有好多問題想請高手解答~
我準備install Linux 2.6落我個embedded system, 咁其實我使唔使改linux果d source code? 咁如果要改...係點樣改?
Skype係唔係open source? 我知skype有linux version, 但係佢硬件要求唔support embedded linux...咁我係咪即係要改個Skype?

1. 你個 "embedded system" 係咩野架構?
例如 CPU, chipset, network, 有冇 harddisk 之類
2. 如果你答不到1，已經不用諗2了。

if you are really new to GNU/Linux, and assuming you don't have much *NIX background knowledge, trying it out on a normal x86 desktop first would probably make your life easier... disregarding what "embedded" system you will be using.

Skype is not open-source.

You need to know the CPU architecture of your embedded system, to see which Linux is suitable.
