【香港訊‧2010年5月14日】近年OCZ積極硏發固態硬碟技術，並於去年推出Vertex系列SSD，推出至今一直大受好評，於世界各地均得到高度評價及傳媒奬項，是次OCZ推出第二代Vertex系列產品，並將更多的新技術引進SSD內，務求大幅提昇SSD效能。

第二代Vertex採用Sandforce控制晶片，Sandforce控制晶片改善傳統SSD控制晶片於NAND快閃記憶體的耐用性、穩定性和資料保持能力的通病，同時提升效能，讓效能爆發性提升，最大讀取速度285MB/s、最大寫入速度275MB/s、最大持續寫入速度250MB/s，4K隨機寫入性能為50000 IOPS，比傳統SSD效能提升多達十倍。
