i have no clue
i don't like to play with others so i always solo, haven't really had any trouble so far
it's the same in mmorpg, i only group when absolutely necessary

both are fun
when im alone i spend most of my time organizing my stash (i have loads of pages ) and farming at several places and then when my mates are up we go for maps (end game content)
the fun factor of this game is there are so many ways to kill you and different type of enemies using different skills like you do its like pvp
i dun have godly gears just some gd gears and i can say you have to adept to situations
for example vs strong hitting enemies you may have to use defensive curses to slow them down and weaken their dmg but vs trash mobs or glass-cannon type enemies you might as well use offensive curse to boost your dmg and finish them off faster
also you can bring two set of weapons: that means you can level up different gems (and therefore skills). e.g. i have life leech gems as well as life on hit gems with me. in maps where life regen is slowed or even cannot regen at all, i swap to life on hit gems
of coz, another more useful way of utilizing the weapon swap system is to link ur skill with mf gems (such as increased item quantity and increased item rarity). i myself have a unique weapon that adds item rarity with skills linked to the aforementioned mf gems for last hit on bosses
my mate (who's a hardcore d2 player, took a look at d3 and didnt even try but jumped right into this game) who's a crit lightning strike dual wield shadow and i utilize different skills to make up for each other's weakness. e.g. i use decoy totems to draw enemies and he throws conversion traps (which turn enemy into friendly for a certain period) and then when they are attacking each other i whirl into the middle and cleave the fuk out of them while my mate shock/freeze/burn them with his lightning strike from a distance.
there are just so many ways to play this game i mean to think of the ways itself is a fun game already lol

for solo lvl up and farm try:
Act 1 ledge
Act 2 fellshrine
Act 3 docks (be sure to pack fire resist and cold resist or dispel frozen flasks. oh yea flasks in this game adds a lot of fun too)
for unique bosses run you can try farming hillock at the start of Act 1 (one of my frds dropped dream fragments (a unique ring) from him and for me he dropped 2 unique items for me too) and act 3 solaris temple lvl 3 the 3 unique banners (lol yea a moving banner that will attack you)

in general i just don't like playing with other players some move too fast and some move too slow, RL friends or not

in WoW, GuildWars 1/2 I always solo all of the content until max level, then only group up when I do dungeons/raid

i was told this site was owned by some currency selling sites and the rate was manipulated
i would suggest new users to 1) browse the official forum and 2) the trade channel
i use 1 al to buy rare gems (when they were still rare and ppl asking in chaos) and shyts that seem impossible to buy with those ridiculous rates
so im not saying they are not correct but if u spend some time u will know the "real" prices
